For Mastermind’s 10-year anniversary issue, the magazine devotes itself to stories of endurance, hope, technology and the golden age of partying.

For Mastermind’s 10-year anniversary issue, the magazine brings these two impulses together to form a perspective that is decidedly of the present. And with its metallic silver cover and new logo, the issue’s new look reflects its new vision.
In terms of reflecting on the past, a chapter devoted to endurance considers that which stands the test of time, from centuries-old architecture to Olympic gold medalist Imane Khelif to the finest of traditional Japanese design. Another section adopts the French mantra “La nuit, tous les chats sont gris” —At night, all cats are grey — as it excavates the glorious heyday of Parisian nightlife, peaking in the 1970s and early ’80s, to see whether such blurring of social distinctions still exists.
